Unum’s supplemental accident insurance provides benefits for covered injuries and specified accident-related expenses for an individual or family. Advantages of the plan:

  • Available to employees ages 17-80 who are actively at work and unmarried children up to age 25.
  • The plan covers a wide variety of injuries and accident-related expenses such as hospitalization, physical therapy, emergency room treatment, doctor’s visits, fractures and dislocations, transportation, lodging and more.
  • Benefits are paid for accidents that occur on or off the job.
  • Plan also includes coverage for accidental death and catastrophic accident.

Bi-weekly payroll deductions: 

  • Employee: $8.19
  • Employee + Spouse: $11.70
  • Employee + Children: $15.60
  • Family: $19.11
